I went with this company two times. Once to Svalbard and once to Antarctica + South Georgia islands. Both times were an absolute blast. Ships were Ortelius and MV Ushuaia. Little bit older ships but I went for scenery not to stay on the ships. Memories are truly forever.
This agent was absolutely great with all the answers and I would definitely pick them for the third time aswell. I would suggest them to make an “Alaska” tab on website for better filtering/searching for those interested, next to Canadian waters.

I can't even begin to offer Antarctica Travels the praise it deserves - this is a seriously first-class operation. It was kinda a spontaneous idea for me to go to Antartica. I started looking for Antartica cruise around 1.5 month before my departure. Martina was really helpful by giving me a list of cruises available based on my desired month and budget. She was helpful and responded to me emails quickly. As for my Antarctica trip, it was 10+ out of 10 trip! I have nothing to complain ! It's actually even better than I imagined. The ship was new and modern. I enjoyed the Jacuzzi a lot. And the staff and expedition team were amazing! They are super friendly, and professional! I guess because I was travelled solo so the restaurant staff remembered my name on the 2nd/3rd day. I felt really warm and welcomed. As for the food, there were different variety of food available. I am not a big fan on the food in the cruise but the dessert were amazing. Thanks to the weather and professionalism of the expedition teams, I was able to have 2 excursions everyday besides the last days. I think it was the max. excursions they can offer. I did 11 excursions for a 12 days itinerary and they were all incredible. My ship also offered citizen science program so I participated cloud survey, bird survey and also the phytoplankton project. I guess I was lucky to see a lost emperor penguin, lots of orcas, and humpback whales. I guess I was super lucky as I have perfect weather, professional expedition team snd ship staffs, nice ship, and the best people I met in the ship. Everything sum up to my unforgettable and perfect Antartica trip.

The only bad thing for my trip was my serious seasick as I had drake shake for both ways . But it is negligible considering how perfect the trip was.

We worked with Carolina and Antarctica Travels back in 2021 when we had to reschedule a trip at the last minute (and by last minute, I mean with less than 2 days before departure, with both of those being US bank holidays).

We were set to go out on one cruise line, but after we were in Argentina, they started delaying our departure, and ultimately cancelled the trip (although they didn't initially tell us why, the ship was quarantined and not allowed to move).

Carolina pulled off a miracle and made the trip happen. This was for my wife's birthday, and something we had planned for over a year. So it was extra special to us. It would have been crushing to have to return home after the cruise was cancelled. We had put so much time into planning that trip, and we were both looking forward to it.

Instead, she got on an OceanWide cruise that was leaving the same day as our schedule departure, which was amazing. We couldn't have planned it better - although It was definitely a little stressful getting everything sorted out.

The cruise itself was a life changing experience - and one that only happened because of Carolina and her expertise. We would have never been able to reschedule it ourselves given the holidays.

Crossing the Antarctic Circle The 11-day trip to the Antarctic Circle aboard the Atlas World Traveller booked through AntarcticaTravels.com truly exceeded all expectations. We were especially grateful for the way Mai's Antarctica Travels team were proactive to book our camping on the continent and for all the helpful email exchanges. The Atlas crew and expedition team were wonderful. We were able to attend many insightful and informative talks along with memorable daily zodiak and shore expeditions. Lifetime experience, thank you Antarctica Travel! This was our first trip to Antartica, and at first we had a lot of trouble figuring out what we wanted and who we could rely on for help. We are happy that we found Antarctica Travel. Sofia was very patient, answering all of our questions, and it was she who first suggested that we should search for smaller boats and place our focus on the reputation of the expedition team. We booked passage on the Seaventure, operated by Polar Latitudes, and we had an excellent trip, with fantastic zodiac cruises, landings, and an excellent kayaking expedition. We encountered innumerable humpback whales, visited several penguin colonies, saw many types of seal, and were even woken early in the morning when the ship encountered a pod of orcas, which we were lucky enough to observe at quite close range. We had not been much interested in the science or the history of Antarctica before our trip, but the presentations and lectures of the expedition team and the citizen science team drew us in. This turned out to be a worthwhile lifetime experience, and we would not have invested in it were it not from Antartica Travel’s patience and good advice. Wonderful Antarctica Cruise We took the 11 days/10 nights all inclusive Antártica cruise with Atlas. It was an amazing experience. We really had a great time in Antarctica with incredible great weather (sunny and very mild wind) 90% of the time during the trip. Antarctica is so beautiful no matter good or bad weather. We were able to make a total of nine Zodiac landings and cruising during the four and a half days in Antarctica. Food on the cruise was amazingly good. Staff were very friendly and Expedition guides were very knowledgeable as well. It is definitely a once in a lifetime experience. Highly recommended it!

Last minute Antarctica Martina was excellent. She was very responsive and kept us in the loop on our last minute Antarctica cruise. We pulled this off with her help in just 20 days. Our stateroom was excellent, maybe the best on-board. The cruise was fantastic.

The trip of a lifetime on the ship Ushuaia The ship Ushuaia is an excellent way to experience Antartica. The ship has a maximum of 90 guests and this means that every guest can enjoy two excursions per day if the weather allows. All of the staff are fantastic and knowledgeable and go out of their way to make sure that every guest is given the opportunity to enjoy this fabulous part of the world. The trips are of ten days duration and being a small ship it is possible to visit places that the larger ships cannot go. The atmosphere on board was friendly and casual but strict about safety and polar protocols.

An unforgettable adventure I am Brazilian and first of all I have to thank Martina's excellent service! It was all at a distance, on the Internet. She explained everything about the trip to Antarctica and gave me the confidence I needed to buy the package with Antarctica Travels. I made the trip at Ocean Albatros of the company Polar Latitudes and everything went well. The itinerary was modified because the Weddell Sea was frozen, but they planned a new itinerary on the peninsula and the trip was excellent. Antarctic Cruising... A Must! One of my most amazing cruises was from Buenos Aires to Antarctica and back! I was on the NCL Star for 16 days with stops in Montevideo, Uruguay; Puerto Madryn, Punta Arenas, Ushuaia, Paradise Bay & Elephant Island, Antarctica; Falkland Islands, and Punta del Este, Uruguay. It was definitely my favorite cruise of all time! The penguins, the Marine life, and the vistas were unforgettable. Although we did not set foot on the continent, we were close enough to understand the experience. The on board scientists who were specialists on penguins, Antarctica, and Geology made it even more informative. Must do cruise!

Antarctica, the voyage of our life All began with a long period assisted by Mai A. from Antarctica Travel to determinate for us the right expedition to Antarctic continent patiently and her suggestion was exactly what we want. When we had booked, Anita F. organized all details, gave information and prepared everything for a perfect trip in a fantastic and precise matter.
The luxurious WORLD NAVIGATOR and his entire crew brought us into another world. The scene was so tremendous – the icebergs, high mountains covered with snow, the blue sea, the blue sky, the glaciers and all together “decorated” with the wildlife transmitted us into an exciting mood all along this super fantastic journey.
On board all the very friendly and helpful staff let us feel being special guests, starting from cabin steward Candy and his cleaning-fellows, always on duty; then in the restaurant area Jorge S. and his perfect team knew about our favourites very quickly and even the executive chef of kitchen, Aireson F. himself took care of us with special delights.
The competent expedition leader Jonathan Z. together with his team of guides informed us every day about upcoming expeditions with the zodiacs, gave us a good scientific background and resumed all experience in a daily recap. A highlight was the cruise with Fiona J. when we have been with our zodiac straight in the middle of a whale family. The humpbacks were around and under us so we could have touched them with our hands but of course we didn´t.
Helping hands in the mudroom always assisted us to get ready for zodiac cruising.
Extra ordinary thanks and recommendation we want to tell to the Yacht General Manager Nuno de S., who cared about his guests in a very personal and peculiar matter all over the cruise and let us feel like at home on WORLD NAVIGATOR.
On top of that the very likable Captain Filipe S. was navigating us through channels and sounds safely and knew all the hidden places where we could see the real Antarctic. Thank you so much!

We did the Feb-Mar Antarctica Circle trip with Albatross Expeditions onboard Ocean Albatross and it was life-changing! Words come up short, if you're reading this review, you need to do this, we have ZERO regrets!

Trip of a lifetime to the Antarctic This was truly the trip of a lifetime and exceeded all expectations. The scenery was stunning, the wildlife breathtaking and to follow in the footsteps of Shackleton a dream come true. We were so lucky with the weather and also whilst still a bit choppy we were told we were all really fortunate with the crossing of the Drake's Passage. Also visited the Falklands again something I had always wanted to do.

Our ship was no frills but exactly what was needed to enable the small zodiac boats to get us in close for our landings, something the bigger more glitzy moving hotels wouldn't have been able to do. Food was more than adequate and plentiful although there was only really one choice unless you had specific dietary requirements. Naturally through personal taste some days were preferable to others but the staff were very obliging and you could always ask for a sandwich if you didn't like what was on offer. There were also extra helpings available if you fancied it and the BBQ nights were particular favourites with us.

The staff were all so friendly and couldn't have been more accommodating. When we were at sea we had lectures on different subjects such as the great explorers such as Shackleton and Amundsen as well as on the different types of penguins and seals and these were all of a high quality. We typically had a 1 or 2 lectures a day depending planned landings for the day.
