Sean grew up in the hills of Donegal in Northwest Ireland. A born traveler, he studied geology and worked various roles along Ireland’s rugged Atlantic coast before setting off into the world at 22. After a year in Australia and several months in Southeast Asia, he was drawn to Argentina by its charm and majestic scenery. Since then, he has reached the summit of Aconcagua, the highest peak in the Americas, and has proudly set foot on all seven continents.
Sean is currently planning an Argentine-Irish wedding to tie the knot with his fiancé Milli, a talented pastry chef he met during the pandemic in Buenos Aires. (Try one of her legendary pastries if you pass through Buenos Aires.)
On weekends, you will find Sean guiding tourists to the terraces of Argentina’s top division teams, sharing his passion for Argentine football with the world. Sean has extensive expertise crafting custom travel itineraries across South America, including off‑the‑beaten‑path destinations such as the Galapagos and Antarctica, before joining Antarctica Travels.
Sean has a long‑standing passion for Antarctica, especially its whales and the Heroic Age of Polar Exploration. He enthusiastically shares his knowledge and first‑hand experience to help guide intrepid travelers on their journey to the White Continent and beyond.
